Blake C. Goldring Named Industry's 2007 Person of Influence
Three AGF Funds Repeat Winners for Outstanding Performance

leadership position in the Canadian financial services industry at tonight's
annual Canadian Investment Awards, with AGF Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer Blake Goldring honored with the industry's coveted 2007 Person of
Influence and three AGF funds being repeat winners for outstanding

The following AGF funds won recognition for outstanding performance in
their respective categories:
- AGF European Equity Class, currently advised by John Arnold and Rory
Flynn, was recognized for the second consecutive year in the European
Equity Fund Award category. It is now a five-time winner since 2001.
- AGF Precious Metals Fund, currently managed by Charles Oliver, Bob
Farquharson and Jamie Horvat, was recognized for the second
consecutive year in the Precious Metals Equity Fund Award category.
It is now a three-time winner since 2001.
- AGF Emerging Markets Fund, currently managed by Patricia
Perez-Coutts, was recognized for the third consecutive year in the
Emerging Markets Equity Fund category.
In addition, AGF Canadian Small Cap Fund, managed by Jamie Horvat and
Charles Oliver, was a finalist in the Canadian Small/Mid Cap Equity Fund
category. AGF International Stock Class, advised by John Arnold and Rory
Flynn, was a finalist in the International Equity Fund category.

from any area of financial services in Canada including fund management,

to an individual who has proven superior performance and an outstanding
contribution to the financial community during the previous 12 months. Other
criteria for consideration includes community and corporate citizenship and
commitment to education, philanthropy, service (if applicable), and support of

In selecting Blake Goldring, the Canadian Investment Awards also noted
his long-term contributions to the broader community at large. Blake's
