AeroMechanical Services Ltd. receives STC from European Aviation Safety Agency

    TSX-V: Trading Symbol "AMA"

CALGARY, Jan. 31 /CNW/ - Europe's aviation authority issued its stamp of
approval for installation of AeroMechanical Services Ltd.'s (AMA) breakthrough
technology on several series of the popular commuter aircraft, the
Bombardier DHC - 8 (Dash 8).
The Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) issued by the European Aviation
Safety Agency (EASA) covers installation of AMA's Aircraft Flight Information
Reporting System (afirs(TM)) on the Dash 8 turboprop Series 100, 200 and 300.
The afirs technology includes global reporting, global text messaging and
global voice communications. It is the opinion of AMA's management that this
STC further strengthens AMA's ability to provide its patented solution to the
European regional airline and unscheduled carrier segment. This is the third
STC received from EASA.
With the addition of this STC, AMA now has the following aviation
authority approvals:

Boeing 737 - 200/300/400/500/600/700/800 Transport Canada, FAA, and China
Airbus 319/320/321 Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA
