Aerofoam Metals Incorporated to Supply Expanding Housing Demand in Florida

MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 4 /CNW/ - Aerofoam Metals Inc. (OTC: AFML)
( Aerofoam Metals Incorporated announces that it will
be supplying its Aerometal(TM) for applications in the housing industry in the
state of Florida. Aerofoam Metals will be supplying its material for use in
the construction of "The Perfect Home" which is designed and being built by
Aercon Industries.
In response to projections that target population growth in Florida to
rise to 25 M by 2020, the Governor of Florida recently announced the need for
up to 600,000 new executive homes by 2015. New homes are required to house the
influx of service professionals - teachers, nurses, police, firemen, etc -
that not only are affordable but also can protect people from hurricanes,
fire, and pestilence, be energy efficient and protect the environment.
Dr. Robert Montgomery of MZD Inc. and a member of Aercon advises that
working with Donald Jones, an expert in building materials that best serve the
Florida market, Aercon Industries conceived the Perfect Home for the executive
market in Florida. Aercon Industries has commissioned the design of its first
Perfect Home model - which has already been sold to Louise Ghigliopty, an
Executive of Home Depot - to include a roof made from Aerofoam's
Aerometal's(TM) many physical attributes have been recognized by Aercon
and Dr. Montgomery believes "Aerofoam to be the most effective and the most
versatile new building material introduced so far in the 21st century and why
I believe Aercon Aeriated Concrete was and still is the greatest, newest, and
scientifically unique building material of the 20th century especially when
partnered with Aerofoam."
The Perfect Home would have a flexible floor plan to fit the needs of
every family. The Perfect Home for Florida could stand the pressure of most
hurricanes, tornados, the heat of fire and the sun, resist insects, lower
noise, and protect the environment by lowering the need for electricity or
other forms of energy.
Paul Colacci, President and Head of Product Development for Aerofoam
Metals comments "The volumes are staggering for Aerofoam if only 10% of the
Florida need is realized. We think the square footage requirement based on 10%
of the market exceeds 100 M. square feet. This dovetails nicely into some of
the other work we have done over the last six months in the whole Gulf Region
to supply our material in the reconstruction efforts. And from our activities
in that region we believe that Aercon made homes will also provide people with
a better chance of securing house insurance coverage."
By using Aerofoam and Aercon technologies for the Perfect Home,
Dr. Montgomery feels they will anchor the Perfect Florida Home to be free from
weather and damages of time. The Perfect Home will have up to 70% of the
weight of a Florida home and reduce energy cost by as much as 70%. The Perfect
Florida Home should last at least 300 years substantially free from the
threats of weather and in perfect harmony with the environment.
The Perfect Home now under construction in Port Charlotte, Florida was
designed by engineers and architects of Aercon and will not need any
insulation or drywall and should reduce labor costs by at much as 30%.
"All regions of the Southeast and Gulf Coast of the USA have a need for
The Perfect Home as do other areas around the globe" comments Mr. Colacci.
