Aerofoam Metals Incorporated Names Robert J. Madden to Board of Directors

    MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 1 /CNW/ - Aerofoam Metals Inc. (OTC: AFML)
( Aerofoam Metals Incorporated announces that it has
named Mr. Robert J. Madden, OBE, to its Board of Directors.
    Mr. Madden is a former Managing Director-Europe of McDonnell Douglas and
served in that capacity with the Boeing Company during the merger transactions
in 1996 and 1997. Headquartered in London since 1981, Mr. Madden worked with
European Aerospace and Defense companies on collaborative projects that
included Guided Weapons and Defense electronics for all NATO countries:
Aircraft - including the Harrier for Italy, Spain, and the Royal Air Force;
the F-18 Hornet for Spain and Finland; and the Apache helicopter for Greece,
Netherlands, and United Kingdom. Mr. Madden served as Managing Director from
1992 until his retirement in 1997 following the approval of the
Boeing-McDonnell Douglas merger by the European Community. For his work with
British Industry, Mr. Madden was awarded the Order of the British Empire,
Officers Medal and was invested in the Order by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth in
March 1997.
