    Pioneering socially responsible investment firm chooses green power

    TORONTO, Dec. 20 /CNW/ - Bullfrog Power(TM), a leading Canadian provider
of 100 per cent green electricity, today announced that Acuity, a leading
Canadian investment firm, has agreed to purchase clean, renewable power for
its office in Toronto, joining the growing list of Canadian businesses and
organizations that are showing their support for the supply and development of
green power.

    Acuity launched the Acuity Clean Environment Equity Fund in 1991. This
Fund invests in a targeted portfolio of equity securities that are leading
innovators in the provision of product and service solutions to key
environmental issues as defined by the Fund. In addition, launched in 2000,
Acuity Social Values Funds invests in a diversified portfolio of mid- to
large-sized companies. All investments are analyzed based on proven financial
and ESG criteria.
    Acuity is also heavily involved in sponsoring research and special events
in the area of socially responsible investing and sustainability. For example,
Acuity is the only Canadian member of the United Nations' Environment
Programme Asset Management Working Group. This unique group was established to
advise the UN on integration of environmental, social, and governance criteria
