Access to Nuns Island via highway 10 East to be closed - 4-month closure of the access ramp starting April 5

LONGUEUIL, QC, April 1 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain
Bridges Incorporated wishes to announce the complete closure of the ramp to
Nuns Island from highway 10 East at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, for a
period of approximately 4 months.
An optional route will be indicated to users, providing access to Nuns
Island by exit 4 of highway 10 East via highway 15 South.
As for the exit 5, it will give access to the Atwater exit via highway 15
North, where an optional route will allow users to reach highway 15 South
towards Nuns Island.
The 4-month closure will allow work on foundations to allow the expansion
of the Z overpass. This expansion will facilitate direct access between Nuns
Island and highway 15 North. Night and weekend closures are also to be
expected in the future for installing beams, a bypass, road forms and concrete
to the deck.
