Absolute Software Achieves ISO 27001 Security Certification

        The most widely-recognized information security certification
       has been awarded to Absolute for its production hosting services

    VANCOUVER, Feb. 11 /CNW/ - Absolute(R) Software Corporation ("Absolute"

management solutions announced today that as of December 12, 2008 it achieved
the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001 certification
for its production IT operations for customers.

    ISO is the world's largest developer and creator of standards that

and systems. ISO 27001 is the international standard developed specifically
for Information Security Management Systems ("ISMS"), requiring that a company

security. Absolute's recent ISO 27001 certification by BSI Group recognizes
the Company's implementation of an effective information security system that
complies with one of the most stringent international standards.
