TORONTO, July 8 /CNW/ - CTV today announced that the /A\ Windsor station
CHWI-TV will continue to operate for the license renewal term that all of
CTV's conventional stations have received (expiring August 31, 2010).
On July 6, the CRTC announced the enhancement of the Local Improvement
Programming Fund (LPIF) to assist conventional broadcasters in supporting
local television programming during the 2009-2010 broadcast year.

review its options including the potential sale of the station. CTV has
