TORONTO, April 27 /CNW/ - The National Block Parent(R) Program announces
the distribution and release of the new Block Parent Sign.
Leading up to the 40th Anniversary of the National Block Parent(R)
Program, the Block Parent(R) Program of Canada is excited to announce the roll
out of a revamped and more secure Block Parent(R) Window Sign.

the reality of a transient workforce, we have embarked on a new and improved
application, screening and approval process.
Working in co-operation with our various Police Partners across the
country it is our aim to ensure that the Block Parent(R) Program of Canada
remains as safe as it has always been.
The new Block Parent(R) Sign will have a new look, yet look familiar. It
will reflect new security and tracking features.
In the coming months, the Block Parent(R) Programs across the country
will be asking all Block Parents to return their signs to their local Program
Coordinator. A new sign will be re-issued under the terms of the improved
application, screening and approval policies.
We are excited to bring to communities across the country - a new sign
that will carry us into future generations to provide safe havens in all of
