99-Year-old to receive prestigous honour

    TORONTO, April 25 /CNW/ - Ninety-nine year old Samuel Gotfrid, Q.C., a
former lawyer and long-time volunteer will be honoured tonight by UJA
Federation of Greater Toronto at an awards celebration on Wednesday, April 25,
at The Eglinton Grand, 400 Eglinton Avenue West. Mr. Gotfrid will receive his
award at approximately 8:15 p.m. and will be available for interviews at the
theatre at 6:30 p.m.
    Mr. Gotfrid will be receiving the UJA Federation Professional Advisory
Committee Award of Excellence, which is presented to those who encourage their
clients to include charitable donations in their estate planning.
    The award to Mr. Gotfrid is part of an evening of celebration for many
esteemed community volunteers.
    Mr. Gotfrid has been a UJA volunteer for nearly 80 years.
