Relaunch in the US: Club Cooee now Listed in Windows Product Scout
KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany, Jan. 6 /CNW/ - The German startup Club Cooee is
honored to be one of the launch partners of Microsoft Corp. at this
year's CES, the world's largest consumer technology trade show.
Thanks to its revolutionary 3D chat, Club Cooee has caught Microsoft's
attention and is one of so far only three German startups which have
been invited to join Microsoft's global BizSpark One program. The
BizSpark One program is an invitation-only program uniquely designed to
accelerate the growth of a select group of high potential startups
through a one-to-one relationship with Microsoft and a global community
of advisors, investors, and peers.
The German 3D social community has developed a touchable 3D chat
especially designed for the technically sophisticated Slate Tablets,
thus creating a vibrant multi-media 3D online world. At the same time,
CES marks Club Cooee's relaunch in the US. The unique application can
be downloaded directly via Microsoft's website, Windows Product Scout,
with only one click on the Slate's desktop. Trade visitors will be able
to experience a futuristic desktop-embedded 3D chat community.
Represented by a self-created avatar, users meet new friends in lively
3D chat rooms and bring life to the desktop on the Touch-n-Type Slates
running Windows 7.
"The easy-to-handle Touch Interface of the Slates makes chatting and
meeting new people on your home desktop easier and even more fun. With
Windows 7 and the Slate's Touch-n-Type Interface, Microsoft provides us
with everything we need to effectively reach our wide target market all
over the world with our fun application", says Ingo Frick, co-founder
of Club Cooee, who appreciates being one of Microsoft's launch
partners. The 3D chat can be downloaded at http://en.clubcooee.com/
