MONTREAL, Nov. 9 /CNW Telbec/ - Germany has been a pioneer of energy efficiency for many years and its advanced technology solutions are of worldwide renown. Under the mandate of the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Montreal organizes a Partnering Program Energy Efficiency, which will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, from November 16 to 20, 2009. Canadian companies, institutions and individuals of the sector are invited to attend a free of charge conference on energy efficiency in buildings and green building on November 18, 2009.
Due to recent government incentives and the increasing awareness of environmental impacts, the Canadian market for energy efficiency and green building has become equally poised for exceptional growth. According to the theme "A Path to Energy Efficiency and Green Building", the Canadian German Chamber will welcome eight German companies of the energy efficiency and green building sector. Their products and services include building management and automation, energy efficient windows and doors, insulation materials, supply systems, underfloor heating and pump systems.
The event will be an excellent platform to network and exchange knowledge on the latest technologies and trends in Germany's and Canada's energy efficiency sector. Participants will have the unique opportunity to establish and foster business contacts and partnerships with German energy efficiency and green building professionals.
