CAMBRIDGE, ON, Nov. 9 /CNW/ - Remembrance Day at Natura World will be very special this year as we launch Pillows for Troops. This campaign lets Canadians provide a pillow to soldiers in Afghanistan from now through 2011.
Comfort is scarce for soldiers in Afghanistan. On his first tour of duty, Cpl. James Hayward Arnal strapped a Natura pillow to his leg. On his next 2 tours, he brought Natura pillows to share.
On July 18th 2008, 25 years old, James became the 88th Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan.
Now it's your turn to comfort our soldiers while they serve. For $5, you'll can purchase James' pillow, personalize it with a postcard and send it to a soldier serving in Afghanistan.
The official launch for the event is November 20th at 1:18 pm at JS Furniture in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The mayor of Winnipeg, His Worship, Mayor Sam Katz, and the premier of Manitoba, The Honorable Greg Selinger will be in attendance.
