New Employer Study to be released: find out what Ontario's HR Executives really think when considering hiring people with disabilities
TORONTO, Nov. 3 /CNW/ - Dr. Jennifer Arnold, reality TV star of TLCs hit show The Little Couple and the Honourable Madeleine Meilleur, Ontario's Minister of Community and Social Services, will address Ontario's top employers at a conference hosted by the Job Opportunity Information Network (JOIN), Toronto Region - a network for people with disabilities and employers.
At the same time, JOIN will release a new in-depth study of Senior Human Resources Executives that pulls back the curtain on what plays into employer's decisions when considering hiring people with disabilities.
The day-long conference, Employing Individuals with Disabilities: Strategies on Inclusion, Recruitment and Retention, will help educate business leaders on how to work with the disability community, and on how to better employ and retain persons with disabilities.
