MEDIA ADVISORY - Media Vehicle Registration Now Open for Pan Am Games Torch Relay

TORONTO, April 27, 2015 /CNW/ - Starting today, media can register for a designated position on the media vehicle during the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay, presented by President's Choice® and OLG.

Media can now go online and register for a camera position onboard the media vehicle in their community of preference. The media vehicle will travel directly in front of the torchbearer and provides an optimal view. Media interested in reserving a position on the media vehicle should do so as soon as possible, as space is limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis. This registration period is an opportunity for reporters, photographers and videographers interested in covering the relay from within the core convoy to express their interest in advance.

Registration will close on Friday, May 15 at 11:59 p.m. (ET).

The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games Torch Relay starts on May 30, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario, and will visit more than 130 Ontario communities and five communities outside of Ontario over its 41-day journey, before making its final stop on July 10 at the Opening Ceremony of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games.

Please note: Media outlets are responsible for their own accommodation, meals and transportation to and from the designated community and meeting point, including from the end of the relay location.
