TORONTO, March 6, 2013 /CNW/ - True Religion has partnered with SickKids to support the Toronto-based foundation as the brand continues its expansion into Canada. To celebrate the brand's recently launched Toronto Eaton Centre store, True Religion opened its doors for a special event in partnership with SickKids Foundation on Tuesday, March 5th, hosted by SickKids patient ambassador Maggie Metherall, who is a self-proclaimed fashionista. Maggie's personal story is a true inspiration to all and reflective of the life-saving work SickKids is known for.
True Religion identified SickKids as the right partner for this event because it is a world leader in children's health research and care. True Religion believes in the SickKids vision of "Healthier Children. A Better World" because every child deserves to be healthy. Since the brand wants to help make that vision a reality, during the month of March, True Religion will donate ten percent of all sales at its Toronto Eaton Centre store, to the Foundation.
