MONTREAL, Nov. 14, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - With a third year of successful
service, the 2011 BIXI season will come to a close tomorrow, November
15 at midnight. After that time it will no longer be possible to rent a
bike, but users can continue to return them to available stations.
Withdrawal of bikes and stations will be carried out progressively in
the following days. Cyclochrome will take care of the maintenance of
the bikes during winter and will make sure they are ready for next
BIXI and its sponsors, TELUS, RIO TINTO ALCAN, and DESJARDINS GROUP,
thank the members and users for this outstanding season and look
forward to seeing them next April 15 for the 2012 season.
Current season wrap-up
This season's wrap-up will be available November 18, 2011. Mr Roger
Plamondon, chairman and CEO, will be available for interviews.
