Québec Rolls-Royce Dealership Expected to be Awarded to Two Montréal Automotive Veterans

Iconic luxury vehicle franchise returning to Montréal

MONTREAL, Jan. 13 /CNW Telbec/ - Dealership rights for Rolls-Royce automobiles in Québec are expected to be granted shortly by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA, LLC to Première Automotive Partners, a company formed for the highly prestigious project by established Montréal retail automotive operators, Groupe Park Avenue and Holand Automotive Group.  Première Automotive Partners, headed by Norman Hébert and Gad Bitton, have competed with several other contenders to bring the coveted Rolls-Royce brand back to Québec.  The province has not had a Rolls-Royce franchise since 2003. The new dealership will be known as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Québec.

"We are privileged to be competing for the opportunity to bring Rolls-Royce to Québec," said Norman Hébert, Dealer Principal of Première Automotive Partners and President and CEO of Groupe Park Avenue.  "Our goal, should negotiations conclude as expected, will be to provide a level of service and professional attention commensurate with the prestige of the Rolls-Royce brand.  Accordingly, with a projected investment of approximately $5 million, we will provide a facility and team capable of delivering the highest levels of customer care in the automotive retail marketplace."

New showroom and service facilities for Rolls-Royce Motors Cars Québec are being built at 5155 de Sorel, at the centre of Montreal's district for luxury auto dealerships.  The facility is expected to be fully operational by April of this year.  Approximately 15 new jobs will be created as a result of the new dealership. The showroom of Rolls-Royce Montréal will feature the Rolls-Royce Phantom, the Rolls-Royce Ghost, and the Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé.

Gad Bitton, Dealer Principal of Première Automotive Partners and President and CEO of Holand Automotive Group said the awarding of the franchise to his group would present a unique challenge that he is anxious to face. "The Rolls-Royce brand represents more than a business - it is emblematic of quality, value and prestige. Every aspect of our operation will therefore respond to the demands of elegance and sophistication. We aim to provide our clientele with a very special experience."

Combined, the two automotive veterans have over 60 years in the business and operate a total of 24 dealerships in North America.

"We can confirm that Rolls-Royce is in negotiations with Première Automotive Partners," said David Archibald, President, Rolls-Royce North America.  "We highly value the interest, enthusiasm and profound expertise brought to this project by Première Automotive Partners, and we expect to have exciting news to share about the return of Rolls-Royce to the Montreal automotive marketplace in the coming weeks."
