POWER FINANCIAL MAKES AVAILABLE 2010 FINANCIAL INFORMATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL REPORTING STANDARDS

MONTREAL, April 29 /CNW Telbec/ - Power Financial Corporation (TSX: PWF) today made available its 2010 financial information reflecting the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), which replaced Canadian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles effective January 1, 2011. The 2010 financial information entitled "Power Financial Corporation - Adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards" is available on the Corporation's website at http://www.powerfinancial.com/investors.

Power Financial's unaudited interim consolidated financial statements for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 will be prepared in accordance with IFRS and will be released on May 12, 2011.
