Pivotal Payments expands Canadian contact centre in Saint John

North America's fastest growing payment processor expands office to address the needs of Canadian merchants

SAINT JOHN, NB, Nov. 24, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Pivotal Payments, North America's fastest growing payment processing company, announces the major expansion of its contact centre in Saint John, New Brunswick. This state of the art facility is now able to provide current and new clients specialized services on an inbound and outbound basis. Business solutions and information pertaining to merchant services, with an emphasis on the acceptance of debit and credit card payments at the point of sale and online will all be offered through this location.

Pivotal Payments held the grand opening on Thursday, November 17, 2011. In attendance were Ivan Court, mayor of Saint John, Jay Reid, Invest NB investment officer, David Kirkpatrick, Government of New Brunswick project executive, Steve Carson, Enterprise Saint John CEO, and Mike Bacon, ContactNB executive director.

The integrated contact centre boasts the latest in telecommunications technology and is equipped to handle calls from across North America. "It is exciting for us to continue to grow our mutually beneficial business relationship in New Brunswick, and in particular Saint John. To that end I am very pleased to announce that we intend to hire as many as 150 new local employees.
