appointed to its Board of Directors to spearhead the Company in an
exciting new direction. Mr. Dixon, who is in private practice at Dixon
Law Firm in Calgary, has been involved in the oil and gas exploration &
production and mining business in Canada for the past 35 years. He has
been actively involved in the drilling of over 1,000 exploratory and
development wells. He currently serves as a director of Jasper Mining
Corporation and is Chairman of the Board and CEO of Fortune Energy
Inc., a private oil and gas company in Calgary. He has served on
numerous Boards including; Petro Reef Resources Ltd., Blackpool
Exploration Ltd., Raider Resources Ltd. and Petrolia Oil and Gas Ltd.
He also owns and operates Calaway Park in Calgary and has been a
director of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Calgary Center
for the Performing Arts.
Mr. Dixon will be replacing Mr. David R.J. Lefebvre who has decided to
step down from the Board after many years of dedicated service. The
Company wishes to thank Mr. Lefebvre for his past service.
