Oxfam Canada Announces Partnership with TrojanOne

TORONTO, Nov. 29, 2011 /CNW/ - Oxfam Trailwalker today announces partnership with events and marketing company, TrojanOne. Through its partnership with Oxfam, TrojanOne will be responsible for all event details and logistics related to Oxfam Trailwalker Canada 2012. Oxfam Trailwalker is a global movement and team challenge in which teams of 4 hike 100 km in just 2 days. Every year in 12 countries, there is an Oxfam Trailwalker event taking place.

Originally founded as an agency that focused on grassroots and community, Mark Harison, President and Founder of TrojanOne said, "We're thrilled to be involved with such an inspiring and unique event. Oxfam Trailwalker brings people together and raises money for those less fortunate; we're looking forward to ensuring that the Trailwalker experience is a memorable one."

About Oxfam Trailwalker

Started in 1981 in Hong Kong as a military training exercise, Oxfam Trailwalker has grown into a global movement, raising $30 Million dollars in the fight against poverty, and is probably the most grueling team challenge out there.

Teams of 4 trek 100km in 48 hours. Each team must start together, stick together, and finish together. But the event is not just physically demanding, it is also a fundraising challenge. When they register, each team commits to raising $2,500 and all proceeds go towards Oxfam Canada.
