SHERBROOKE, Qc, Sept. 6, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - The Board of Directors of
the Centre de technologies avancées BRP - Université de Sherbrooke
(CTA) today announced the nomination of its new General Manager, Steve
"We are pleased that Steve agreed to join the CTA team," said Gérard
Lachiver, Vice-Chairman of the Board. "His technical knowledge and
management experience, acquired over 15 years as a member of BRP's
engineering team, will greatly benefit the organization and provide
continuity in CTA's general management."
Steve has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Université
Laval and an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke. A BRP employee since
1996, Steve has held a number of positions in the R&D department. For
the last three years, he has been a director within the development
team for Can-Am all-terrain vehicles and side-by-side vehicles. His
nomination is effective immediately.
Mihai Rasidescu returns to BRP while continuing to assume the role of
Chairman of the CTA Board for the next two years as requested by the
members of the Board.

researchers, masters and doctoral students, and leading-edge engineers
in the field of motorized recreational vehicles. The CTA currently

financial support from the CTA each year.
