MONTREAL, Nov. 9, 2011 /CNW/ -- Korn/Ferry International (NYSE: KFY), a premier global provider of talent management solutions, today announced that former Quebec Minister of Finance, Monique Jerome-Forget, has joined the firm. Ms. Jerome-Forget will act as advisor in the governance, leadership and diversity practices at Korn/Ferry, while concurrently advising Montreal legal firm Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt.
Monique Jerome-Forget was a member of the Quebec National Assembly from 1998 until 2009. In addition to being Minister of Finance, she was President of the Treasury Board and Minister responsible for Government Services. Ms. Jerome-Forget sits on several Boards of Directors and is a Fellow at the Centre for Interuniversity Research and Analysis of Organizations (CIRANO).

Previously, Ms. Jerome-Forget was a Vice Rector at Concordia University. She also served as Assistant Deputy Minister of Health and Welfare Canada, as well as President and CEO of the Commission de la sante et de la securite du travail and Chair of its related research institute.
Ms. Jerome-Forget has been active within several community, cultural, medical and educational organizations over the years and served as President of the Institute for Research on Public Policy. She was also a columnist for The Financial Post and Les Affaires.
Ms. Jerome-Forget holds a B.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology from McGill University. She also studied Political Economy at Universite de Montreal, History at Johns Hopkins University and Economics at University of London School of Economics.
