MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario Science Centre invites Torontonians to warm their bodies and inspire their minds

TORONTO, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - Despite numerous closures in and around the Greater Toronto Area due to the snowstorm, the Ontario Science Centre will remain open today during its regular hours of operation, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Several schools and businesses have decided to call a snow day in lieu of the weather conditions. Parents may be left trying to find something to keep kids occupied during the day that will also keep them out of the cold.

The Science Centre always has interactive, engaging and thrilling experiences to offer:

  • Catch one of our three IMAX® Dome Films and engage your senses with the biggest, most involving film experience ever.
  • Take a deep-water dive with the kids into the fascinating world of whales at the Whales/Tohora exhibition.
  • Children can learn through play in KidSpark where they can build their own roller coaster, cook a make-believe meal in a mini kitchen and much more!

The Science Centre offers something for everyone. Families can take the opportunity today to explore, discover and learn together.

The Ontario Science Centre is located at 770 Don Mills Road in Toronto.
