Lowe Roche Awarded GroupeMédia TFO Business

Toronto shop to handle creative, brand strategy for the Ontario French Language Educational Communications Authority

TORONTO, Sept. 12, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Lowe Roche announced today that it has been awarded creative and strategic branding duties for GroupeMédia TFO, a producer and broadcaster of high-quality cultural and educational plurimedia content.  This represents the second new business win for Lowe Roche Toronto since Monica Ruffo was named CEO of the agency a few weeks ago.

Lowe Roche will work in collaboration with Mordicus, an Ottawa-based communications agency specialized in servicing French-language groups that operate in Ontario or across Canada. Lowe Roche will oversee all strategic branding duties. The Agency is charged with refreshing existing branding materials as well as standardization of usage for GroupeMédia TFO's image, in addition to creating a coherent brand strategy for the company, as well as its products and services.

"I am very excited that we have been selected to help pave the way for the next chapter in TFO's history as they undergo an important cultural and technological transformation," said Monica Ruffo, CEO of Lowe Roche and the Montreal creative boutique, Amuse.

"At this important juncture for GroupeMédia TFO, we were looking for a partner who could deliver strategically and creatively to support and launch our upcoming 25th anniversary --and beyond. Lowe Roche demonstrated their expertise in brand image management, along with a keen understanding of our mission," noted GroupeMédia TFO President and CEO Glenn O'Farrell.  "We are in good hands and look forward to an innovative and collaborative relationship with Lowe Roche."

Lowe Roche will work to push new creative to market in January, re-launching the brand during its 25th anniversary.

GroupeMédia TFO produces and broadcasts high-quality cultural and educational plurimedia content, with a strong focus on programs that engage and entertain intelligently, from children's programming to international cinema.  It also produces and distributes complementary material to support this content according to the needs and aspirations of the target clientele. In this way, TFO contributes to the civic and cultural development of the Francophone community in Ontario and makes its content available on a wide variety of plurimedia platforms.

Lowe Roche has been named Agency of the Year seven times, Agency of the Decade and International Agency of the Year by Advertising Age. The office provides integrated marketing efforts for clients including Audi, Nestle Purina, Miele, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, and Knorr.  Lowe Roche operates under the management of Deutsch Inc., the North American hub for the Lowe and Partners global network.
