Rick Joyal as Chair of Libro's owner-elected Board of Directors.
The announcement comes after former board chair Tony Strybosch retired
from the Board in January. Tony served as Board Chair since 1998.
Rick has served on the Board since 2001 and prior to that served as a
branch Owner Representative for five years. Rick and his wife Nancy
have two children and live in Ballymote just north of London. He is the
owner operator of Van Luyk Greenhouses where he manages all aspects of
the year-round business. Rick is active on the boards of the Hamilton
Road Business Association and Independent Garden Centres of London, and
is currently serving on the London Small Business Task Force of the
Mayor's Economic Council.
