Les Centres d'Accueil Héritage unveils its new corporate identity

TORONTO, June 17, 2011 /CNW/ - June 16, 2011 - After over 30 years of operation, Les Centres d'Accueil Héritage (CAH) has decided to rejuvenate its image to better position itself to undertake new projects and establish its identity for the future. At its Annual General Meeting of June 15, 2011, the CAH unveiled its new corporate identity.

Reaching out to the community is the defining motif adopted by CAH, represented by a pentagon that opens out into an arc. CAH retained the services of Costa Leclerc Design to create this new identity. The decision to change its corporate image came in response to recommendations made by the communications and strategic planning committees and approved by the Board of Directors.

"We are proud to unveil this new corporate identity. It better reflects the current and future vocation of the Centres d'Accueil Héritage as a dynamic multipurpose organization at the service of its community," said Diane Saint-Pierre, Board Chair. "As the only provider of community support services in French and affordable housing adapted to the culture of French-speakers across the Greater Toronto Area, CAH makes every effort to better meet the needs of the Francophone community in all its diversity."

CAH's new logo will become an integral part of all its public documents as well as its Web site, which will be revamped over the next few months. "By launching this new logo, we are preparing to meet the challenges of the future and to undertake new projects," added Executive Director Gérard Parent.

Founded in 1978, CAH is a non-profit organization serving French-speaking adults in the Greater Toronto Area who are experiencing loss of autonomy. CAH provides affordable housing to the elderly and people living with HIV/AIDS at Place Saint-Laurent, whose 135 apartments include 100 subsidized units. The range of services available includes an elderly persons' centre, day services for the frail elderly, home care and home support services for the elderly and people living with HIV/AIDS, communal dining and accompaniment and transportation services.
