TORONTO, June 29, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Desjardins Financial Security is
proud to announce that it will be the Platinum Sponsor of the seventh
annual Le Tour de Terra Cotta cycling tour to be held on Monday, August 1, 2011.
The Desjardins Financial Security Le Tour de Terra Cotta cycling event, set in the picturesque Caledon hills of southern
Ontario, features a challenging course with a full road closure,
no-yellow-line rule. Up to 800 individual riders of all ages will flock
to the hamlet of Terra Cotta from across Canada and the U.S. to

youth races and the 26K short-course adult event designed for resolute
amateurs and those wishing to ride a shorter distance.
The day will start with four events culminating in the signature race,
the largest non-O-Cup road race in Ontario providing elite licensed
riders with a 104K challenge. For the first time in the history of the
event, the large field of professional cyclists will compete in this
mass-start race for the second largest cash purse for a road race in
Canada offering $1000 top individual prize, male and female equivalents
in each age category.
Desjardins encourages the growth of the sport of cycling in Canada and
every year Le Tour de Terra Cotta attracts more new riders than any other race event. "We're proud
