About the 2012 Kia Rio5 and 2012 Kia Soul

The new and exciting 2012 Rio5 is the embodiment of the modern urban, stylish yet practical and fun to drive. In addition to its world-class styling, the 2012 Rio5 is powered by Kia's latest generation of engine. Its 1.6 liter four cylinder engine produces 138 horsepower yet yields exceptional fuel efficiency thanks to its technologically-advanced GDI (gasoline direct injection) and choice of either six speed manual or 6 speed automatic transmissions. The Rio5 will be available in an ECO model, which feature a push-button activated and advanced system called ISG (Idle stop & Go) that improves fuel economy by turning off the engine in certain conditions which do not require it to function. Get ready, with these undeniably strong attributes, the new Rio5 is bound to turn the subcompact car segment on its head.

The 2012 Kia Soul is the latest evolution of the unique vehicle which became a game-changer at its arrival on the market in 2009. The 2012 Soul benefits from the much of the same technology offered in the 2012 Rio5, such as standard GDI as well as six speed manual and automatic transmissions. An available ECO model with ISG technology is also offered. More than ever, the Soul represents the perfect urban utility vehicle that offers a true identity blending style with technology, efficiency and safety.
