Shopview to deliver digital solutions enabling brands and retailers to boost sales and enhance customer engagement in custom-designed retail environments

MONTREAL, May 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Artitalia Group, a leading international supplier of display fixtures for the retail industry, today announced that Martin Lessard and Michel Garneau have joined International Visual Corporation Inc. (IVC), an Artitalia affiliated company specialized in visual merchandising solutions, to lead Shopview, the company's new digital signage offering dedicated to the delivery of best practice customer engagement solutions. Both have extensive experience in leading innovative and successful ventures within large corporations.

Personalization of the in-store customer experience is becoming a key objective for retailers as they are increasingly being challenged by rising consumer expectations. By adding interactivity and customer engagement strategy to Artitalia's global offering, Shopview will deliver interactive merchandising solutions in custom-designed retail environments that will enable leading brands and retailers to increase sales and enhance the relationship with their customers.

Martin Lessard joins IVC as executive vice-president. He has 20 years of experience in successfully growing new ventures worldwide in the fields of emerging technology and digital marketing for retail.  Prior to joining IVC, Mr. Lessard was president of one of Canada's leading digital signage company operating thousands of screens for national brands and retailers. He has also held executive positions at Bell, Mindready and My Virtual Model. He is a marketing management graduate from HEC Montreal.

Michel Garneau joins IVC as Vice-president Operations and Strategy.  He brings more than 25 years of experience in management, operations, strategic planning and finance with recognized achievements at both national and international levels. He worked for 14 years at CGI Group Inc. as corporate vice-president and spent the last 4 years managing operations for digital signage, tactical and mobile marketing corporations offering multimedia alternative means of promoting brands, products and services to consumers throughout the world.
