Hudak's "First Priority" is Cutting Health Care

TORONTO, Sept. 7, 2011 /CNW/ - At the first event on the first day of the Ontario election campaign, one of the first questions to Tea Party Tim Hudak was about health care.  And he claimed, with a straight face, that his "first priority" is health care.

He forgot one word: cuts.

When Hudak was junior health minister in Mike Harris' slash-and-burn government, his priority wasn't the kind of health care Ontarians expect or want.

Then, he:

  • Fired 6,200 nurses
  • Closed 28 hospitals
  • Left over 1 million Ontarians with no family doctor

With a gaping $14 billion hole in his platform, Tea Party Tim knows that PC cuts to health care are on their way.  Cuts to our hospitals, nurses fired, and home care hours cut.  Just like the PCs did last time.

Tim Hudak wants to take us backwards and divide us.  Only Dalton McGuinty and his team have a plan to bring Ontario forward, together.
