NDP K-12 plan amounts to just 0.0009% of total education budget
TORONTO, Sept. 15, 2011 /CNW/ - On a day The Economist credits Ontario with "one of the world's best-performing schools systems", Andrea Horwath confirmed the NDP has no plan for Ontario's 2 million
elementary and secondary school children, said Liberal MPP Kathleen
"The disappointing NDP platform skipped education, and today's
announcement ignores what parents care about most, their children's
success," said Wynne. "Horwath completely ignored graduation rates,
new schools, class sizes, test scores, and full-day kindergarten."
The NDP delayed their education plan for months, and today's $20 million
announcement amounts to just 0.0009% of the total education budget.
