GO Transit launches online customer panel: Let GO Know

TORONTO, April 14, 2011 /CNW/ - GO Transit customers now have a new way to make a difference to their daily commute. Starting today, GO Transit will begin asking customers what they think about GO's services through a new online customer panel, Let GO Know.

The Let GO Know customer panel is free to join and will host regular surveys and polls, asking GO customers about everything from the way GO Transit communicates with them to the impact GO's expansion and construction activities have on their daily commutes.

"We're very excited to launch this online panel for our customers," said Gary McNeil, President, GO Transit. "Many of the best companies in the world that excel at customer service use panels like these to involve and listen to their customers. The feedback we get from our customers is essential to planning and implementing changes to our services, and Let GO Know is an interactive and engaging way to get our customers directly involved in that process."

GO passengers who sign up at www.letgoknow.com will fill out a profile questionnaire to ensure they receive surveys that are relevant and timely. Panellists will only ever be asked to participate in surveys that are targeted specifically to their travel habits.

"We'll be asking our customers for their insights on specific topics to help us better understand what we need to improve on and where we are already doing well," said Mary Proc, GO's Vice President of Customer Service and Human Resources. "This new initiative supports the valuable insights that the 10 members of our Customer Service Advisory Committee provide to us regularly."

As with the Customer Service Advisory Committee, GO Transit will report back to customers on survey results from Let GO Know, as well as any improvements that have been made as a result of customer feedback.

Let GO Know will also publish a quarterly e-newsletter for panellists to highlight survey results and provide details about upcoming surveys and improvements. All GO passengers, whether they are panel members or not, can learn about survey results on the Surveys & Feedback page at gotransit.com.
