TORONTO, Feb. 16, 2011 /CNW/ - GO Transit and Google are celebrating their one year anniversary since teaming up to provide GO riders with an online trip planning tool.
Available at gotransit.com/tripplanner, Google's Transit Trip Planner integrates the route and schedule information for the entire GO system, as well as most local transit systems.
Since GO got involved one year ago, additional local transit systems have been incorporated in the trip planning tool. The GO network of rail and bus services is now linked with systems such as TTC, York Regional Transit (YRT)/VIVA, Brampton Transit, Mississauga Transit (MiWay), Hamilton Street Railway and Burlington Transit.
Google's Transit Trip Planner works much like the popular Google Maps application. Simply enter where you are, where you want to be, and when you want to be there; Google will do the planning for you.
We promise to help you quickly and courteously, gotransit.com/promise/helpful.
