TORONTO, April 14 /CNW/ - General Donlee Canada Inc. ("General Donlee"
or the "Company") (TSX: GDI) announced today that Gerald Thain will
retire as Chief Financial Officer of the Company at the end of April
2011, following an 11-year career with the Company.
Effective May 2, 2011, Garen Mikirditsian will become Chief Financial
Officer of the Company. Mr. Mikirditsian has recently been assisting
the Company's Board of Directors and senior Management on various
financial matters and as such is closely familiar with General Donlee's
In discussing his upcoming retirement, Mr. Thain said, "During my tenure
at General Donlee, the company has experienced tremendous change and
success, and I am proud of the role the finance organization has played
in that success. I have worked with Garen over the past few months.
Garen has my full support and I firmly believe that he will contribute
greatly to the company's future success."

Mr. Mikirditsian's professional career incorporates extensive experience
in financial management roles, most recently serving as Vice President
at the Toronto offices of Geosam Investments Limited, a private
investment firm. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Mikirditsian spent three years
in the Mergers & Acquisitions group of a major Canadian investment bank
where he was involved in a wide range of public and private M&A
advisory mandates. Mr. Mikirditsian has a strong understanding of the
business issues facing manufacturing companies, having previously
worked as general manager at a Montreal-based luxury-goods
manufacturing business. Mr. Mikirditsian is a graduate of Concordia
University's John Molson School of Business where he received a Master
of Business Administration degree. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering
degree from the Mechanical Engineering Honours Program at McGill
