MONTREAL, June 8, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Earlier today some 92 teams
consisting of people from the business and sports communities took part
in a BIXI bike and running relay race in downtown Montreal as part of
the very first Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation Urban Duathlon. The event

Sainte-Justine UHC perinatal care unit.
"The fun and friendly Urban Duathlon relay race took over the city today
and was a smashing success on every level. We exceeded both our
participation and fundraising goals to help the cause of children, a
phenomenal result since this is the very first edition of the event,"
said Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation Urban Duathlon Organizing Committee
Chairman François Rivard.
To take part in the Urban Duathlon each team of three participants
consisting of two "bixicyclists" and one runner raised at least $750 to
register for the event. Participants were eligible to win a trip to
Club Med, a pair of tickets to anywhere Porter Airlines flies… plus
many other exciting participation prizes.
