MONTREAL, Feb. 3 /CNW Telbec/ - A fresh snowfall, an array of 22
activity areas and a program comprised entirely of musical shows
provide you with three great reasons to bring the family to Parc
Jean-Drapeau this weekend to enjoy the final weekend of La fête des
Neiges de Montréal.
Come and discover the joys of winter on the outstanding Parc
Jean-Drapeau site, and enjoy tube sliding, the skating path along the
riverbank, the carnival alley with its skill-testing games, the
350-foot zip-line, horse-drawn sleigh rides, the ice-hockey rink and

Along with all of these activities, this weekend features a series of
dynamic and upbeat outdoor shows with tiny Théo, who will be joined by
a pair of dancers as part of Yoopa Saturdays, and the Boogie Wonder Band, which will get people of all ages moving and shaking to the sounds of
its '70s and '80s music, on Sunday at 2 p.m. Meanwhile, several
personalities from the RockDétente radio station invite you to come and skate with them on Sunday, to the
beat of the music from the Brunch 80-90 show.
As with all La fête des Neiges de Montréal weekends, tents where you can
take a break and get warm and baby rest-stops will be available on site
for families, and they can also take the time to enjoy a delicious hot
chocolate, brioches baked on site or some maple taffy on snow. Rental
of skates and sleds is also available on the site.
