Quotes:
"We all have a role to play in ensuring kids are motivated to stay active. Whether it is giving them opportunities to develop physical literacy to increase their confidence or ensuring they have a caring adult leading their program, it all leads to positive experiences. And research shows people who have positive experiences as a child are more likely to stay active for life."
- LJ Bartle, HIGH FIVE National Standard
"As HIGH FIVE Registered Organizations, Canadian Armed Forces Bases and Wings recognize the value of quality recreation programs to military families. The HIGH FIVE Standard helps us create positive environments for children that build resiliency and help them overcome the unique challenges of the military lifestyle."
-Commodore Sean Cantelon, Director General Morale & Welfare Services
"Quality recreation is essential for healthy child development. Positive experiences in sport and recreation not only help address the problem of inactivity among children, but often set a pattern for healthy participation for life."
-Sen. Nancy Greene Raine
