VANCOUVER, May 26, 2011 /CNW/ - Westminster Resources Ltd. ("the
Company") has commenced a core drilling program at the San Bartolo
silver prospect at the Company's El Cobre property in Sonora, Mexico.
This drilling is designed to test a series of strongly anomalous, linear
silver in soil geochemical anomalies with coincident historic old
artisanal pits and shafts. Individual target zones range from 100 to
500 meters in width for the 2.0 kilometer long baseline, with some
anomalies open to extension beyond the initial grid. Silver content in
the soil anomalies for 64 samples ranges from 1000 ppb (1 g/t) to 5200
ppb (5.2 g/t), for 144 samples ranges from 500 ppb (0.5g/t) to 1000 ppb
(1 g/t) and for 191 samples ranges from 300 ppb to 500 ppb. (See News
