MONTREAL, Nov. 27, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - COFELY Services and Kelvin Emtech are pleased to announce the creation of COFELY KE, a joint venture with equal ownership by its two shareholders. This new entity will provide operations and maintenance services targeting the uptime and efficiency of Mission-Critical Facilities.
This initiative will combine Kelvin Emtech's expertise in the design and optimization of electromechanical infrastructures for data centers with COFELY's world class know-how in the operation and maintenance of critical sites (more than 200,000 m2 internationally).
The creation of COFELY KE leverages the experience of specialists using strict interventions protocols already tested on many critical sites in the world.
COFELY KE will provide data centers managers with flexible solutions for the maintenance, operation and energy optimization of their electromechanical systems including power, cooling, fire protection and building automation systems.
As large data centers continue to emerge with higher TIER levels, COFELY KE will offer new outsourcing alternatives for owners and managers of critical sites.
The head office will be located in Montreal with access to the Canadian and U.S. regional offices of its two shareholders. COFELY KE has officially been launched on September 18 with the company's participation at the Data Center Innovation Expo (DCIE) 2012 held at Le Palais des Congrès de Montréal. Michel Chartier of Kelvin Emtech, and Pierre Lapointe of COFELY Services were both in attendance to introduce the new venture.
