CAA ask members to be patient

THORNHILL, ON, Feb. 20 /CNW/ - Motorists can expect treacherous driving conditions in Windsor, Tecumseh and Chatham due to heavy snow and strong winds.

CAA South Central Ontario (CAA SCO) continues to service high priority calls - those drivers who are stranded out in the cold weather and snowy conditions - when the weather and the OPP permit.

All eastbound lanes of E.C. Row are closed between Huron Church and Matchette roads due to the poor weather and motorists stranded on that Highway should call the OPP for assistance.

CAA SCO is asking members in Windsor, Tecumseh and Chatham to be patient over the next 12 to 24 hours as wait times may be longer than normal.

Meanwhile, members who are safe at home and calling for service are being advised that the auto club is responding to stranded drivers first.

CAA South Central Ontario is a not-for-profit auto club offering insurance, travel, automotive care and roadside services. There are more than 1.8 million CAA members in South Central Ontario and 5 million members in Canada. We're more than Roadside Assistance. We're Life-side Assistance. Visit
