Bluebear and TRACIP announce the deployement of LACE in France

PARIS, France and GATINEAU, Qc, Nov. 4, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Bluebear LES and its partner TRACIP are pleased to announce the end of the first phase of the deployment of a few dozen "LACE" Servers to the French Internal Security Forces.

These "LACE" Servers, deployed in all regions of France, will allow specialized units of Cyber-Gendarmes (NTECH) engaged in the fight against online child exploitation to depend on a powerful computer forensic tool to automate the sorting and categorization of confiscated pictures and movies. In this field of work, confiscated computer material often contains well over one million images and tens of thousands of digital videos.

Automation, based on Bluebear's image matching technology, will allow the cyber-gendarmes and forensic specialists to drastically reduce the delays to review the confiscated material, improve productivity and help protect the analysts against repeated exposition to this very shocking material.

Furthermore, TRACIP and Bluebear LES will, in the next weeks, continue their efforts to complete the deployment of "LACE" Servers in France; now with the specialised units of the French National Police.
