Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario launches campaign that
highlights student benefits and reward parents for investing in their
TORONTO, Jan. 6 /CNW/ - With Ontario's independent schools hosting open
houses and hoping to attract next year's new students, the Conference
of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS) has come out with an ad
campaign to highlight the value and return a parent can expect when
they invest in their child's education.
"Whether it is saving for retirement, a special project, a new car, or
just a rainy day, people are seeking ways to deliver better returns on
their investments," said George Briggs, Executive Director, Conference
of Independent Schools of Ontario. "A recent survey shows that parents
feel they get some of the best returns by investing in an independent
school education for their child. They see their children learning and
gaining experience that prepares them for their post-secondary journey
and a successful life."
Parents seem to be in agreement that they have made the right choice.
"We want the best for our children and after doing our research felt
that an independent school education would do just that," said George
Przybylowski, the father of a child at an independent school. "The
financial commitment is significant and sacrifices need to be made but
we felt that the return is immeasurable. Our children are involved with
