Silver Standard owns and operates the Marigold mine in Nevada, U.S., the Seabee Gold Operation in Saskatchewan, Canada and the Pirquitas mine in Argentina. The Marigold mine has been in continuous operation since 1988 and it achieved record production of 207,006 ounces of gold in 2015. The Pirquitas mine in Argentina is one of the largest primary silver mines in the world. Pirquitas achieved commercial production in December 2009. In 2015, the mine produced a record 10.3 million ounces of silver. On May 31, 2016, Silver Standard acquired the Seabee Gold Operation, which has been in continuous operation since 1991 and produced a record 75,748 ounces of gold in 2015. Silver Standard also has two wholly-owned feasibility stage projects, Pitarrilla in Mexico and San Luis in Peru.
