YGC Resources reports results from drilling the Manto Zone at its Ketza River property

VANCOUVER, March 5 /CNW/ - YGC Resources Ltd. (Toronto Stock Exchange:
YGC; Frankfurt Xetra Exchange: ZH6) announces results from its drilling
program at the Lab, Tarn, Penguin, and Crest Zones all parts of the Ketza
River Mine Manto Gold Zone on the wholly-owned, past producing, Ketza River
property located near Ross River, in the Yukon Territory, Canada.

    Lab Zone
    --------

The results shown below are from the west side of the Lab Zone manto
deposit, where step-out holes were drilled to test a lobe of the
magnetic-high, geophysical anomaly that generally coincides with the existing
resource. The highlights of this drilling were drill-holes KR-06-860, which
assayed 5.96 g/t Au over a true thickness of 3.97 meters, and KR-06-892, which
ran 4.94 g/t Au over 6.09 meters.
In addition to these new results, drill-hole KR-06-736, in the nearby
Calcite Zone, was determined to have a greater true thickness than previously
reported in June of last year. The intercept of 0.77 meters of 20.20 g/t Au
has been corrected to 2.85 meters true thickness at the same grade of
20.20 g/t Au.

    Tarn Zone
    ---------

Drill-holes KR-06-956 and KR-06-957 were drilled south of the Tarn Pit.
Both intersected sulfide manto mineralization, and represent 15 meter and 30
meter step-outs from the mineralized pit wall (see November 30, 2006 news
release). Drill-hole KR-06-956 intersected 4.13 meters grading 5.49 g/t Au.
Hole KR-06-956 contained two intercepts: 6.56 meters which assayed 2.48 g/t Au
and 2.33 meters which ran 4.86 g/t Au. The mineralized trend which contains
the Tarn Pit and the above two drill holes remains open to the south, and will
be the focus of further drilling.

    Penguin Zone
    ------------

The Penguin Zone is a high-amplitude magnetic anomaly with a coincident
gold-in-soil geochemical anomaly. It is being explored as an analog to the
Calcite Zone. The anomaly consists of two parts; the principal one is 325
meters long, whereas the other one is made up of three segments which total
270 meters in length. Drill-hole KR-06-938 was drilled in the strongest part
of the magnetic anomaly, and intersected 11.67 meters that averaged 3.25 g/t
Au, including 2.34 meters that ran 8.59 g/t Au. This intercept was followed up
with fans of holes stepping out 20 meters to the northeast and 20 meters to
the southwest. To the northeast, KR-07-965 intersected 5.78 meters of 4.19 g/t
Au, and KR-07-968 cut 2.50 meters of 12.85 g/t Au. Results are pending for the
southwest step-out.

    Crest Zone
    ----------

Six holes were drilled in this strong magnetic anomaly on the crest of
Peel Ridge, northwest of the Peel deposit. Strong sulfide mineralization was
encountered in a low-angle fault zone, which none of the holes were able to
get past, to test the limestone beneath. Drill-hole KR-06-846 intersected
1.87 meters of 4.04 g/t gold. This area of strong alteration will see
additional exploration in this year.
