Yangaroo's DMDs Adopted in UK by Intermedia

UK's Leading Independent Promotions Company to Digitally Deliver New
    Music to UK Radio

TORONTO, March 14 /CNW/ - YANGAROO Inc. (TSX-V: YOO, OTC: YOOIF), the
industry's leading secure digital media distribution company, will now provide
Intermedia Regional Promotions with the ability to digitally deliver new
releases to the UK's radio network though YANGAROO's UK-based partner
Adstream.
YANGAROO's digital media distribution system (DMDS) is a digital file
transfer system that allows record labels, publishers, and artists to quickly,
securely, and inexpensively deliver broadcast-quality music tracks and related
promotional materials directly to radio stations, television broadcasters, the
press, agents, promoters, and advertising creative directors.
Already established across the major American and Canadian broadcast
networks, YANGAROO's patented DMDS system is currently used by all Canadian
chart-monitored radio stations and has made over 4.5 million deliveries of
over 11,000 songs from more than 500 record labels to destinations which
include radio stations representing over 35 major American broadcast chains.
"In this digital age, it has frustrated me for some time that there
seemed not to be an acceptable, workable, secure music radio digital delivery
system," said Steve Tandy, Managing Director of Intermedia Regional
Promotions. "Intermedia has strongly supported attempts in the past to achieve
such a system, that would be adopted and embraced by key music people within
radio, instead of the antiquated CD-in-a-envelope approach we have all been
using for years."
"To add secure digital music delivery to our portfolio through our
partnership with YANGAROO's DMDS product is very exciting," said Howard
Pearce, Licensee Director of Adstream. "To now link this with the UK's leading
independent music promotions company, which represents a wide cross-section of
the major & independent labels, sends out a signal that the UK's music
industry has finally found the right technology that gives it the confidence
to embrace the digital age."
"The adoption of our DMDS technology by Intermedia represents both the
interest in and success of our method for digital delivery," said John Heaven,
President and CEO of YANGAROO. "We look forward to continuing to expand the
use of DMDS outside of the US and Canada."
