X-Ore Resources: First Gold Intersects 15.25 g/t Au over 4 m and 27.03 g/t Au over 2 m on Croinor project

    VAL-D'OR, QC, Sept. 5 /CNW Telbec/ - X-Ore Resources Inc. (TSXV - XOR)
("X-Ore") is pleased to announce more results from First Gold Exploration Inc.
(TSXV - EFG) ("First Gold") drill program on the Croinor project located 75 km
from Val-d'Or, Quebec. First Gold has optioned the property under two separate
joint-venture agreements with X-Ore totalling $2.4 million work program and
5.45 million shares in order to earn a 50% interest in the project.
The planned 5,000 meter drill program on the mining lease was completed
in August for a total of 5,684 m. Out of twelve (12) holes drilled, two were
abandoned while ten (10) holes were completed. Assays have been received for
eight (8) holes.
Holes CR-07-331 and CR-07-332A are located 200 m to the west of hole
CR-07-334 which returned 5.19 g/t Au over 10.9 m (see August 29, 2007 press
release). Results listed in the table below appear to demonstrate that the
gold mineralization is improving towards the west as two significant stockwork
zones were identified on the most westerly section drilled to date. Best
results returned respectively 15.25 g/t Au over 4 m from 158.0 to 162.0 m and
27.03 g/t Au over 2 m from 258.0 to 260.0 m.
Even though, many assay results are pending, First Gold intends to drill
a minimum of four (4) additional holes this year on the mining lease. This
additional drilling will test a 200 m portion of the mineralized structure
directly to the west of hole CR-07-332A. This program on the mining lease
should start before the end of September once the 1,500 meter drill program on
the adjacent Lac Bug showing is completed.
Preliminary indications are that the true widths of the mineralized
intervals are roughly equivalent to 50% of core lengths. Assays have not been
cut.
