Workforce shortage coalition to speak at pre-budget hearings



    TORONTO, Jan. 25 /CNW/ - Representatives from Ontario's Workforce
Shortage Coalition will speak Monday to the provincial Standing Committee on
Finance and Economic Affairs on the retraining and skills shortage issues in
Ontario.
    The coalition speakers at the conference will be Linda Franklin,
president and CEO of Colleges Ontario; David Zurawel, the vice-president of
policy and government relations for the Council Ontario Construction
Associations; and Tyler Charlebois, of the College Student Alliance.

    Ontario's Workforce Shortage Coalition includes the Automotive Parts

Colleges Ontario, CON(*)NECT, the Council of Ontario Construction Associations,
the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and
