NISKU, AB, April 11 /CNW/ - Wood Composite Technologies Inc. ("Wood
Composite") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas Villetard as
its new Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Villetard has over 13 years experience in public accounting,
primarily working private sector. Prior to joining Wood Composite, Mr.
Villetard was a Senior Manager with Daye & Company, Chartered Accountants and
previously served in a similar role with KPMG LLP. Mr. Villetard earned his
Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a member of
the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants.
"Mr. Villetard has established a well-rounded financial background as
well as operational, sales and marketing and client service experience in a
wide variety of industries. He has demonstrated his enthusiasm for our vision
for the company and confidence in our future by accepting the responsibilities

Mr. Villetard officially assumes his role as CFO on May 1, 2007.
Wood Composite also announces that Gordon Green will be resigning as the
CFO of Wood Composite effective April 26, 2007. Mr. Green joined Wood
Composite in October of 2006 and is retiring.
